Wine Marketing Abroad Program GEO

June - August of 2022 I and 55 other students had the opportunity to study sustainable business and wine marketing in Siena, Italy through GEO (Global Education Oregon). While in Siena, I got the chance to create and present a new marketing/social media plan for Fèlsina winery as seen below. Within those six weeks, I was able to tour 10+ wineries, try amazing new foods, and meet Tuscany’s most renowned wineries and the families within. Courses included: wine marketing, sustainable business, and Italian culture.

Instagram Reel Mockup

With the addition of adding a marketing manager to Fèlsina’s team, we created an Instagram reel mockup. The marketing manager would be in charge of creating reels to post on Fèlsina’s Instagram and other social media platforms to target more consumers within and outside of the Tuscany region.

Ranked 22nd on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2023!

Chianti Classico Berardenga Riserva

“A solidly built red introduced by aromas of mint, lavender and wild rosemary. Shows cherry, raspberry, earth, iron, sanguine and tobacco flavors allied to an almost viscous texture as this cruises to the long finish. Impressive now, yet will be better in three to five years. Best from 2026 through 2045. 5,000 cases made, 2,200 cases imported.” —BS

Vinetage: 2020, score: 94, and price: $40
